The Hurricanes are embarking on major fundraising activities to support our objective of ‘having our own home, and securing the future of the Hurricanes'.
The Hurricanes Lottery is a great way for you to support us whilst having a bit of a flutter! Here’s how it works…
Complete the form below and set up and standing order (or pay by cheque) for:
£2 per month (or £24 annually) which buys you one number
£4 per month (or £48 annually) which buys you two numbers
£5 per month (or £60 annually) which buys you three numbers

The monthly prize fund will be 35% of the funds taken that month. The prizes are as follows:

Monthly 1st Prize – 20% of the funds taken that month

Monthly 2nd Prize – 10% of the funds taken that month

Monthly 3rd Prize – 5% of the funds taken that month
We are aiming for 1,000 numbers per month at £2 per number, which means the 1st prize would be £400, 2nd prize £200 and 3rd prize £100!

60% of the funds taken each month goes to the Club to help fund equipment, resources and opportunities for players.
In addition, the final 5% of the funds taken each month will be added to an annual jackpot with a mega-draw made in December each year (members must have been playing for at least 6 months to be eligible for the annual prize draw).
The annual jackpot prize makes up the final 5% of the fund and, again based on 1,000 numbers will be a massive £1,200!

All numbers will be allocated by the Club and participants must be 16 or over.
The draw will take place monthly on the 1st day of each month (all payments must be received into our account by the 25th of the month prior to the draw for numbers to be eligible).
If you win we will contact you for your bank account details to pay the winnings via bank transfer, and the name of the winners will be published on the Club website.
*Standing orders should be set up for the 25th of each month. For example, to be part of the May 2024 Draw, your standing order must be set up to go out on the 25th April 2024.

Hurricanes Lottery Rules
Purpose
The purpose of the lottery is to raise funds for the Club, supporting ongoing club development. The money will be paid into the Hurricanes bank account and will be used to provide equipment and resources for the benefit of our players, coaches and supporters.
Rules

For a cost of £2 per month (i.e. per draw) you will be allocated one number, for a cost of £4 per month you will be allocated two numbers and for a cost of £5 per month you will be allocated three numbers – this will be done by the Lottery Lead and you will be made aware of your number via email.

A draw will be made every month with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.

The prizes will total 40% of the annual income.
This will be apportioned as: 1st prize of 20%, 2nd prize of 10% and 3rd prize of 5% for each monthly draw. There will be an additional jackpot drawer for December with a single prize of 5% of the annual income (members must have been playing for at least 6 months and be an active member as at 1st December to be eligible for the annual prize draw). -
The Hurricanes Lottery is a small society lottery and is open to all players (over 16), family members and friends of the Club. Anyone aged 16 or over can join.

The total amount of numbers sold will be limited to 1,000 per month.

Payments must be made by standing order or annual cheque. One month’s notice is required for cancellation. Standing orders should be set up for the 25th of each month. For example, to be part of the May 2024 Draw, your standing order must be set up to go out on the 25th April 2024.

Members' numbers will only be entered if their subscription is up to date.

If a member has no valid reason for missing a payment, their number may be sold to someone on the reserve list.

The draw shall be made by the Lottery Lead using Number Picker Wheel - Pick Random Number by Spinning

The winning payments will be made by bank transfer within one week of the draw (subject to receipt of bank account details being provided by the winners).

The name and numbers for each month’s winners will be posted on the Club website.

The Hurricanes Lottery will be run by the Holmes Chapel Hurricanes FC Committee. In case of any dispute the decision of the Committee is final.

Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the lottery if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month.

If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into Club funds after six months.
